1)Exchanged insights from coaching their project teams as related to ‘the fish’ (progress made on the business aspect of the projects).
2)Prepared for the Team Coaching 201
3)Extracted insights and recommendations related to Client as a consequence of coaching in 6 different projects. Extracting lessons on the ‘fishing’ (consulting; teamwork; shared leadership; project management).
4)Become a stronger team of coaches with their own project teams.
5)Gained greater confidence and competence in coaching teams.
6)Practiced several team processes, concepts and tools (10-D Consulting Model, Power Planning, SRWR, R&D, Fist-Five, 4-MAT, Peer Coaching, ARL Principles, etc.) and introduced to a few other tools: Questioning; Presenting; Impact / Effort Grid.
7)Discovered insights from Gentle Interventions and E-Learning.
8)Gained even deeper appreciation of one another.
9) Had fun while learning.
During this period, the participants are required to review the digital toolkit and to find opportunities to introduce and apply as many of the concepts, tools and processes that they learned just-in-time whenever appropriate. In this course, the participants are expected to use as many of the following learned concepts from TCCP 101 as possible in their project work (which is being supported by a LIM Learning Coach):
4-MAT, Fist-Five, Fishbowl, Debriefing, Appointing, Contracting, Story Telling, Use of Space, Visual Explorer, Power Coaching, Learning Partners, Memorable Moments, Peer Group Coaching, (R&D) Reflection & Dialog ,Norm Setting (part of contracting),SRWR (Stop Reflect Write Report) 10-D Consulting / Project Management Model
The LIM Learning Coach also schedules a one-on-one coaching sessions with each participant within the following month after the workshop. Each participant prepares questions and plans on how he/she has applied the learning. The LIM Coach coaches the participant and extracts insights on ARL Coaching. Below is the design of the one-hour coaching session:
Contract: Goal Setting related to how the tools have been applied in a team setting
Context: Questions; understanding the challenge
Choices: Possibilities and strategies
Change: What are the measures of success; Next steps; accountability
Debrief & Feedback (Written feedback will be sent to each participant after the session).
In preparation for Team Coaching 201, participants are also reminded to read “Gentle Interventions” and begin to document learning insights on coaching as well as:
Review the outline for the upcoming course – Team Coaching 201
Review and accomplish the Coaching Assessment Instrument: The assessment will take about 45 minutes. Participants are expected to read each major question and the sub-questions.
Reflect on all the team experiences of the participant and his/her team and exchange thoughts, feelings and insights from those experiences.
